MAIN PURPOSE:
The gantry crane is used for transhipping mineral fertilisers in big bags into railcars.
Within the scope of the technical assignment, a comprehensive reconstruction of the gantry crane was carried out: Repair of steel structures and inspection of all welded joints. Based on the results of non-destructive testing, all identified structural defects were eliminated. A new operator cabin was designed and installed, equipped with all necessary access and control systems. A load capacity mode selector switch with three positions was installed in the cabin: 5 t, 10 t, 20 t. The power supply system was upgraded by installing a motor-driven cable reel with a cable capacity of 80 m. Additional access walkways, working platforms and service access systems were installed. The cabling system has been completely renewed.
