Main purpose:
Festoon cable system is intended for short travel distances (up to 60 metres) and a small number of cables. Cable trolleys running on a wire rope are used for supplying power and routing cables and hoses to hoists, cranes, crane girders and workshop transfer carts. Cable trolleys travelling along a wire rope are characterised by a simple design and ready availability from stock. These cable trolleys are a direct equivalent of the previously manufactured flexible conductor systems of series 5.407-115.
