Our repair services include the restoration of damaged, worn or unserviceable equipment components, including steel structures, mechanical systems, hydraulic drives, electric drives, as well as safety devices and control instruments.
Repair of lifting cranes can be divided into three categories:
- Routine repair — addressing minor damage to crane steel structures, electrical systems, or mechanical components, as well as replacement of minor parts. Examples include replacement of crane mechanism motors, wire ropes, hook blocks, and replacement or repair of crane travel wheels. This type of repair is carried out in accordance with a preventive maintenance schedule.
- Emergency repair — repair performed in the event of an accident or failure of a crane component resulting in equipment shutdown and the inability of the Client to carry out repairs independently.
Emergency crane repair includes:
- Initial consultation with the Client to assess the scope and complexity of the required works;
- Preparation of technical documentation and repair specifications in compliance with occupational health and safety requirements;
- Preparation of the necessary tools and equipment for the repair works;
- Deployment of COSE specialists to the site;
- Execution of repair works;
- Provision of technical documentation upon completion of the works.
- Major overhaul — comprehensive repair carried out to restore a crane to its original technical specifications, for example after a prolonged period of inactivity. Major crane overhaul performed by COSE includes:
- Dismantling of the crane;
- Preparation of crane components for transportation to the repair facility;
- Transportation of the crane;
- Agreement with the Client on the scope of supplied components;
- Development of technical documentation and repair specifications in compliance with occupational health and safety requirements;
- Execution of works in accordance with the approved technical documentation;
- Surface preparation of crane components to surface finish class Sa 2.5;
- Application of protective coating in accordance with GOST 9.032-74;
- Agreement with the Client on the work schedule;
- Approval of the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule;
- Transportation of the crane to the installation site;
- Crane installation;
- Load testing and technical inspection;
- Provision of the required post-repair documentation.
