The mobile gantry crane is designed to transport a wind turbine blade to the milling machine. The design solution with two freight trolleys enables controlled turning of the blade directly within the machining area.

The crane is equipped with a mobile travelling system with the ability to rotate around its own axis, ensuring high manoeuvrability and precise positioning in confined production spaces.

The choice of a gantry crane instead of an overhead crane was due to the absence of crane runways in the workshop design. Therefore, the mobile gantry crane became the optimal solution for performing production operations without additional capital modifications to the building structure.
